Okay, the March commissioned spot is taken. The custom is named "Birds of a Feather" and she will have Scarlet Macaws as her symbol. Her design has colorful hair and is made from a G3 Pepperberry!
The April spots are probably taken too. There will be some more spots, but it's going to be a few months from now. I have to get ready for the Midsummer Pony Contest this year! ^_^ I'm thinking of themes...if you have an idea, please post or e-mail me!

The gradient painting tutorial is complete! I hope people understand it...it's not complicated, but it does take some patience. ^_^

Also, here is a peek at Memento:

Her symbol is a lavender crescent moon with bats around it. The bats are not solid, but rather filled in with delicate crosshatching. One bat is holding a silver necklace...a memento. Her legs have freehand lace-type designs around them.

Thank you so much for the tutorial! I have an idea I want to try one day which involves that, and it's nice to have a guide to help me know how to start/work.

And Memento is just coming along beautifully.

and I'm almost finishd with the custom you dyed the hair for! I finally got around to rerooting her yesterday, it turned out lovely! It was just the right amount for her main and tail...so now I've just got to put on some finishing touches and she'll be done =)

What a stunning pony!

I just wanted to ask, re the gradient tutorial, would you do the same steps for a gradient around the muzzle?

Thanks for the comment! ^_^
Yes, you would use the same steps for a muzzle gradient. I would probably use more layers to get a smoother effect. ^_^

I cant believe i'm talking to you! Anyway, I suggest the theme for the contest be "Of Light and Darkness" You know. Balence. That sort of stuff.

Thanks for the comment. ^_^ Oh, that sounds like a very interesting theme...reminds me of Star Wars (which I love, BTW!) It could be easily worked in with the ponies, since there is such a contrast between Hasbro's sugary sweet ponies and the dark customs which have such a following!
