Wow, I can't believe it's October already. My how time flies! ^_^

New October desktop background features Shadow Watcher. If all goes well with her paint job, she will be listed for sale at the end of this month.

Listed more ponies for sale on the Extra Ponies for Sale pages. LOL, these aren't "extras" anymore, these are the gems of my collection! Eventually, I'll be listing a full set of Pearly Babies, Windy Wings/Summer Wings, and TAF Babies. >_<

Are there going to be any ponies left on the Virtual Farm? I've decided to keep a few ponies that I really like and focus on customizing. Also, I'm moving again in a year or two, so I don't want to be lugging around buckets full of ponies. ^_^

In custom news: Winnie is finished. Just need to finish her custom box, which (you guessed it) belonged to Rarity. She's too large to fit properly in a regular G3 box. The box still needs the side flaps printed. I've been puzzling over how to get her to stay in the box, however, I think I've figured out a pretty good solution. I'm going to wrap loops of plastic-coated wire around her feet and anchor her to a stiff piece of clear plastic. Then, this will be taped to the bottom of the box.
Please click on her logo to reach Winnie's page.

Lotus is getting her eyes re-painted. Peace is getting her symbols painted.
Okay, that's it for now! ^_^

Inspired by you, I tried making my own box

Why sell off your lovely gems if it causes you so much pain? I couldn't do it!

Wow, that's really nicely done! It's hard to get the label to fit so perfectly into an odd-shaped box. ^_^

Yes, it really hurts to sell off my collection. I just don't have the storage space and I'm planning a move in a year or so. However, once they're out of my sight, I tend to forget about them. Also, I'm not as attached to the newer ones. It's the old favorites that I used to play with that are ~really~ hard to part with!

Oh god, Mountain Boy Sunburst! ;^; *cries* I'd be a slave for a month just to have him. You're incredibly brave to be selling so many rare ponies but you're a great collector to be doing it - too many MLPs are getting rarer on eBay because of collectors who just snatch 'em up and lock them away for years. Hope you have luck selling them all and making some room! I know how much room they can take up, believe me. I'm constantly moving my lot around. xO Winnie is gorgeous by the way - I love ponies with multicoloured hair. <3

Thanks for the comment. Yes, ponies are taking over my place. And I keep saying "No More G3s!", yet they still follow me home from Target!! ^_~
I'm happy to sell my ponies to collectors who really have the time & space to appreciate them. Mine just sit in boxes in the closet...there's just nowhere to display them.

Epoxy perplexity

I have a quick question that I'll try to get in all in one entry...*cough*. I was wondering if you knew anything about, or have ever used the epoxy sculpt that everyone seems to be using now-a-days? It looks really interesting and very versatile, but I can't find anything on the net that describes what is it or how it works. If you do use it, would you give me a hint as to where I could find it?

Thanks a ba-zillion! (keep up the beautiful work!)

Search first, ask questions later...

As usual I took some time to look over your tutorials and found your polymer / epoxy chart (which was very helpful, thx!) but now I have another query...Am I understanding correctly? Can you sculpt on your pony with polymer clay and stick the whole thing in the oven to set? Seriously?? Won't your pony turn into a steaming pile of molten plastic?

Re: Search first, ask questions later...

Sure, no problem. Glad you found my website helpful. Yes, you can bake an entire pony. However, certain parts may melt...like the magnet cover on the G3 pony's hoof & flutter wing clips. It's best to remove these before baking.

Speaking of Rarity, are you gonna to customize her for the midsummer contest winner?
