Thanks for the suggestions. It would make the most sense to go with a "tribal" pattern for her symbol. Except that it's been done so many times before & I'm actually not a huge fan of "tribal" art. *nods* Yes, I agree that it's a good idea to save the plum flowers for another pony.


Dug through the parts box & found some dangly earrings. Hmmm...what about a carousel pony with dangly bits? Surprisingly, I've actually never tried making a pony with a sculpted saddle before. The metal parts were wired in first. I wanted to use air-dry clay, but decided to go with epoxy since it's stickier.

Paint color scheme will be purple/black. Hair will probably be black/purple with silver streaks. Hoof symbol will be a swirly teardrop.

Wow, that looks fantastic!

The picture on the left loaded first, and I thought it was the only picture in your post so I wasn't so sure about the earings attached to the pony, but with the sadle on top (curse you slow loading computers!) it looks fantastic!
