customs in progress & red butterscotch [Mar. 28th, 2005|03:01 pm]

[mood |creativecreative]
[music |FF7 Philharmonic Suite]

Finished Red Butterscotch, a G3 variation of the original.
This is going to be one of the LAST "Hasbro Based" customs that I'm making.
I will be finishing up the ones in progress & that's it! No more "baby", "G3", or "replicas".
There are many reasons for this decision, but the whole debate over copyright issues is the main reason.
*nods gravely*

Red Butterscotch's pictures are located here:

Here's a picture of a custom in progress: Dancing Swan. She was supposed to be made in a G3 Valenshy pose, but I couldn't get the covered hole (from removing the jewel) looking 100% flawless. There was still a hairline, despite many attempts at patching with a bunch of different materials & sanding & painting like a mad customizer! Ugh! Fortunately, the designer was willing to go with a Fluttershy base.

She is wearing the skirt & shoes from the Sparkleworks evening wear set. I like the skirt, but she will eventually have lavender satin ballet shoes. She still needs her hair dyed, styled, and her symbol & tail! This is one really complicated custom!! ^_^

Oh the hair is gorgeous! I love Red Butterscotch. Dancing swan looks like she'll be very interesting when done too. Keep up the good work!
