busy weekend [Oct. 23rd, 2005|11:30 pm]
[mood |happyhappy]
[music |creed - what's this life for]

Lots of stuff going on this weekend, but I managed to have some time for the ponies!
Customs in Progress:

The zebras are actually looking pretty good. On the pink one, I made the stripes & colorpoints darker...there's actually nice contrast now. The stripes still need a few more layers. The black/white one just needs some hair, and then she's done!

Awww...here we have three ponies with sculpted parts. Two reindeer and the mystery pegasus (now alicorn). This is really going to the the last pic of her...once she's painted, then she won't be that much of a mystery! ^_~

To the left is Morbid Delusions. I hope I got her markings right. The blue areas are glittery. To the right is Chococherry Delite. I finally got around to curling her hair, but she still needs a tail & the
chocolate scent!

To the left is the lovely Delicious.  She needs her hair curled. To the right is the other side of Morbid Delusions. The numbers show where the markings connect. The stars form an "armlet" of sorts around her front hoof.
Whew! That's a lot of projects! I have most of the upcoming weekend off (no more weddings until December, thankfully) so there will be another update soon. ^_^

Reindeer ponies! Are you going to paint them Christmasey or leave them pink and orange? That would be soo cute. Thanks for posting prog pics, I always love to see your work.

Wow, those Zebras are looking so nifty, I love their stripes! ^^ And the sculpted parts on the reindeer and mystery pegasus look really good too, when they're painted you probably won't be able to tell that they're sculpted parts!

Yuuush, you got all Morbis markings right, they look wonderful n.n

Gosh, your chocolate ponies are looking so good! I love the combinations of the hair and their main colours, and their symbols look really impressive.

Thanks for all of the wonderful comments! ^_^ I'm really pleasantly surprised at how all of the customs are turning out.

Wild Sundance: for the horn, I use a two part polymer mix such as Apoxie Sculpt. I've also used flexible sculpy before, but you need to remove the magnet before baking.
